A 17-year-old teenager died and a 23-year-old man was seriously injured this Saturday afternoon in a possible gang-related shooting that occurred behind a Target store in the Baldwin Hills areain the city of Los Angeles.
The authorities reported that The shooting occurred at 3:32 p.m. near the Target store at 3500 La Cienega Boulevard.near the intersection with Obama Boulevard, according to Officer A. Delatorre, of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Operations Center.
The two victims were sitting inside a car when an individual arrived aboard another vehicle and shot them several times before fleeing the sceneDelatorre said.
Paramedics who attended the incident transported the two victims to a hospital, where the teenager died.
Detectives mentioned at the scene that the 23-year-old man was in the driver’s seat, while the 17-year-old was in the front passenger seat, while four other people were in the back seat of the car, including two 4-year-old children.
