Before the final of the Liga MX Closing Tournament 2022 began between the Tuzos de Pachuca and the Atlas, the ‘Foxes’ deployed a game with drones that outlined the club’s shield over the Hidalgo Stadium and the local fans.
The “surprise” did not please the Pachuca fans who massively occupied their venue. The whistles and boos did not detract from the spectacular moment that was captured by the television cameras that broadcast the crash.
There were three figures that were shown in the sky: the first was the Atlas shield, the second -by way of pushing its players and fans- was the word “we create” with the ‘e’ matching the 3 (third title) and finally the imposing ‘A’ of the red and black.
Through social networks, many people also expressed themselves about the technological show: from insults such as “mediocre show” to compliments such as “What a beauty!” netizens shared.
The two-time championship after 70 years of drought for the Atlas
The Atlas de Guadalajara has gone from winning nothing in 70 years, to being champion two tournaments in a row in a period of six months. The ‘Zorros’ claimed the Liga MX trophy again despite losing to Pachuca 2-1 away. Finally, the overall result of the tie favored them (2-3).
And, without a doubt, this final of the Liga MX Closing Tournament 2022 left everything, from two teams that gave their souls to stay with the championship to the arbitration disorganization that has been the mockery in the great Aztec night.
Finally, the strong pressure from the Hidalgo Stadium could not more than the strength of the approach of the Argentine Diego Cocca, who is already a proper name in the history of the Atlas.
