Sergio Perez continued his streak of points this Sunday at the Miami Grand Prixwhich ended in fourth placeskimming the podium. The day in the United States was very productive for Red Bull, who saw their leader win again, Max Verstappen.
Checo Pérez finished in the same position in which he started. It was not an easy race for the Mexican, who lost power in the middle of the fight for the podium and was unable to take advantage of the full potential of his car, despite driving with the solvency to which he has accustomed us.
A yellow flag gave Pérez the opportunity to fight lap by lap with Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). With talent he managed to overcome it, but he overrev and braking made him lose the podium that he was about to get.
Finally Ferrari was left with two of the three podium positions. The maximum glory was left to Max Verstappen. Fourth place was enough for Perez to continue in Drivers’ Championship podiumwith 66 points behind his Dutch teammate (85 points) and Charles Leclerc (104 points).
The next appointment is on May 22 at the Spanish Grand Prix.
