The story revolves around Bell Cranel, a naive young man who wishes to become the greatest adventurer in the land. His dream gets a little closer to reality after an unexpected encounter with the lonely goddess, Hestia. Through her support, Bell takes on an incredible journey as he explores deep within the city’s monster-filled catacombs known as the Dungeon which is the most dangerous place as this place is surrounded by a mysterious power.

Will there be Danmachi Season 4?
It has been almost a year since the third season of the anime series Danmachi or Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon aired and fans have been flooding the internet with queries regarding the release date of next season. To hype up their energy, Danmachi is officially renewed for season 4. For all those massive fans out there, here’s everything we know so far.
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon is based on a successful Japanese light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. It was first published in the year 2013.
Danmachi is an incredible fantasy adventure greatly appreciated by fans all around the world for its Harem comedy. The series was first released in the year 2015. It has three seasons so far with 3 OVAs released in late April after the third season of the series wrapped up in 2020. The series was created by Studio JC Staff. The first season was directed by Yoshiki Yamakawa and the second and third seasons by Hideki Tachibana.
It was officially announced via Crunchyroll that Danmachi will be releasing the fourth season in the year 2022. Unfortunately, Studio JC Staff is yet to announce the release date. So we can’t really comment on season 4 as of now.
As far as the production department, Studio JC Staff has previously animated all the three seasons of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon as well as the OVAs. They have also developed Arrow of the Orion movie. Speculations are that we’ll get to see them animating Danmachi season 4 as well.
As per Anime News Network, Hideki Tachibana directed the third season and has been the director since the second season. It’s most likely that he’ll return to direct the next season unless it is announced otherwise.
Season 3 of Danmachi was created out of volumes 9 through 11 of the light novel series. It is believed that season 4 will consume volume 12 of the light novels which marks the beginning of new and exciting adventures for Bell.
