Billionaire Elon Musk said he feared for his life after a post by Roscosmos, a Russian space agency, said that Musk’s technology has been useful to the Ukrainian government in the face of the Russian invasion.
Through his Twitter account, which is followed by 91.6 million users, the Tesla CEO shared part of a statement translated into English from Dmitri Rogozin, head of the space agency, where Musk is held responsible for the supply of equipment of communication to Ukrainian combat forces.
“From the testimony of the captured chief of staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it follows that the ground subscriber equipment of the Starlink satellite company Elon Musk was handed over to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol in military helicopters,” it initially read.
“Elon Musk is therefore involved in supplying military communication equipment to the fascist forces in Ukraine. And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable as an adult, no matter how much you play dumb.”
Given this, Musk wrote on the same social network: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it was nice to meet you”, at the same time that he questioned the word “Nazi” and said that “there are no angels in war”.
In response, the CEO of Space X received several reactions from his followers. One of them, youtuber MrBeast asked, in a sarcastic tone, if he could have Twitter if that happened, to which Musk replied: “Ok”.
This is not the first time that the space agency has exchanged messages with the billionaire of South African origin. Musk once offered to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin over the future of Ukraine. He even challenged him to single combat. In response, Rogozin hinted that Musk was a “little demon.”
