The Kia EV6 is a fully electric crossover vehicle that will hit the market in three versions: Light, Wind and GT Line.
The most basic version is Light with a 58.0 kWh battery which allows the car a range of 232 miles on a single charge. Up to 167 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque can be generated with this motor.
The other versions of this Kia are the Wind and GT Lineare equipped with a battery with capacity 77.4 kHh and with the option to choose between a rear drive or AWD.
An all-wheel drive version achieves 320 horsepower and 446 pounds of torque per linear foot, but having this requirement reduces its range to 274 miles with a full charge. With this Kia the fastest acceleration is achieved, managing to go from 0 to 100 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds.
The batteries of each of the models are lithium and come with an “ultra-fast” charger that is capable of refueling 273 miles in 18 minutes.
The driving sensation of this vehicle is quite smooth, powerful and noiseless. It also has four modes in which you can drive: ECO, Normal, Sport and Snow.
As in hybrid vehicles and the latest electric vehicles in the world, it is capable of recovering energy and recharging it when it brakes. This energy recovery braking mode can be adjusted from controls located on the steering wheel.
Another novelty of this Kia is that it brings cruise control guided by navigation and when it is activated on the highway, it keeps the car in the lane. It is also capable of detecting when a curve is coming and helping to slow down to take it more easily.
This semi-autonomous driving system can also be brought to the point of a “hands-free” option by activating the turn signal light. This can be used at times but the artificial intelligence will also know when to ask the driver to take the wheel.

Size
The Kia EV6 appears at first glance smaller than it can actually be. The wheelbase is 114.2 inches, similar to the Kia Telluride. It has sunroofs only over the front seats to reduce the weight of the vehicle.
The ground is flat like in every electric car. This allows for a spacious interior configuration with 102 cubic feet for passengers. The trunk is spacious and under the hood, in the front, there is also a small cargo space.
connectivity
Another of the great points in favor of this Kia is the WiFi hotspot, an element that also allows all the car’s software to be updated automatically without necessarily going to the workshop.
It also has connection to a smartwatch or a device equipped with Amazon Alexa, voice recognition, Apple Car Play or Android Auto.
These Kia models in their three versions will be available in nine colors: white, black, red, pearl, two different blues and three gray variants.
Pricing ranges from $40,000 to $55,900.
