David Vassegh, narrator of the Los Angeles Dodgers, has not finished his work in the best way during the series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Vassegh went down the slide of Bernie ‘s, the mascot of the Brewers and when he reached the end he suffered a fracture in his right wrist and also several blows to his right ribs.
The reporter went down the slide in his broadcast uniform and with a towel under his body to help him slide better, but it was clear from the start that Vassegh was not too sure about attempting the maneuver.
When he landed in the final part of the slide, he came with a lot of finality and impacted his right wrist and ribs against a support mat.but rather the one that ended up leaving him sore and that this Thursday is the joke among his Major League colleagues.
“Hey guys, I do my own action scenes like Tom Cruise.. I tried to go with all my style, but it was not possible”, said the commentator joking after the blow and a kind of cast on his right arm to protect the wrist after the fracture.
Austin Barnes, catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers and who was the Man of the Game, he dedicated the win to David Vassegh in a joke for his punch and continuing his work despite the pain.
The Los Angeles Dodgers finish this Thursday a series of 4 games in Milwaukee against the Brewers and they will then travel to Miami for a three-game series against the Marlins. The Los Angeles team has the best record in the Major Leagues with 81 wins and 35 losses. They were also the first team this year to reach 80 wins.
