The NBA market has witnessed an unexpected “bombshell” and that is the current champion of the best basketball in the world, the Mexican Juan Toscano-Anderson has decided to step aside with the current monarchs to join the discipline of the Lakers. An agreement of which the terms and conditions are not yet known.
The news of the change of scene of the Mexican basketball player has been announced through his Twitter account by the renowned Yahoo Sports journalist, Chris Haynes.
Lonny Walker IV, former player of the Spurs, Troy Brown of the Mavericks, and Damian Jones of the Sacramento Kings, are the other pieces that, along with Toscano-Anderson, join the ranks of the lagoon quintet for next season.
Juan Toscano-Anderson’s numbers with Golden State
The Mexican Juan Toscano-Anderson leaves Golden State Warriors after playing a total of three seasons in which he left an average per game of 4.8 points, with 3.3 rebounds and a total of 2.2 assists.
The Mexican forward ends up moving to the Lakers where he will coincide with LeBron Jamesa decision that came as a surprise because just weeks ago he was celebrating the NBA title with Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors.
Toscano-Anderson’s decision comes a few days after the basketball player will pass through Mexico to celebrate the title in his homeland where he even met with the very president of the republic Andrés Manuel López Obrador who described him as the best Mexican basketball player of all time.
Toscano-Anderson’s alleged salary
The journalist Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, reported that Erika Ruiz, the Mexican player’s current agent, would have a salary of 1.9 million dollars for joining the Lakers as a new teammate of LeBron James and Anthony Davies.
It is expected that the Lakers can arm themselves and overcome the last performances that have left them hanging in the quest to be among the top places in the best basketball in the world.
