Reese Witherspoon has consistently been one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood since the early 2000s.

Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon was born on March 22, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her father, John Draper Witherspoon, was an otolaryngologist and her mother, Betty Witherspoon, was a professor of nursing at Vanderbilt University.
At seven years old, Witherspoon participated in some television commercials encouraging her to take acting lessons. Four years later, he took first place in the Ten State Talent Fair.
He enrolled at Stanford University to major in English literature, he retired to pursue a career in acting.
In 1990 he participated in the film “The man in the moon”getting for this role a nomination for Best Young Actress at the Young Artist Awards.
She went on to star in the cable TV movie “Wildflower,” “Desperate Choices: To Save My Child,” a CBS miniseries “Return to Lonesome Dove,” and the movies “Fear” and “Freeway.”
She won the Young Hollywood Award for Best New Female Performance for her role in “Pleasantville.”
The sequel to “Legally Blond” that was released in 2003 grossed $90 million at the box office and paid Witherspoon $15 millionmaking her one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.
At the moment, The actress produces and stars in the Apple TV+ drama series “The Morning Show” alongside Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell.
In 2003, she earned $15 million for Legally Blonde 2., also earned her first executive producing credit for the sequel. From that moment on, Reese earned a standard minimum base salary of $15 million per film. Between 2001 and 2012 alone, he earned more than $120 million in base salary from movies to date.
