Researcher assures that there are 4 extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way and they would be willing to attack Earth

A scientific paper presented this month raised the possibility that in our galaxy, the Milky Way, there are at least 4 extraterrestrial civilizations that are willing to attack Earth. The research was carried out by Alberto Caballero, a doctoral student at the University of Vigo in Spain.

Caballero’s statement is part of a study published in the International Journal of Astrobiology, in which he claims to have identified the place where the so-called “Wow! Signal”, which is a radio wave whose origin has been a headache for scientists for more than 40 years.

The first time that researchers managed to capture this signal was in 1977 thanks to a radio telescope. It was a burst of energy lasting approximately 1 minute, which according to Caballero, took place 1,800 light years away in a star similar to the Sun.

The importance of this signal is that This is the closest thing to proof of extraterrestrial life that scientists have come to.. For this reason it is considered a turning point in the search for other civilizations beyond our planet.

Nevertheless, the Spanish researcher himself states that he is aware that his work “Estimation of the prevalence of malicious extraterrestrial civilizations” has some limitations.

An example of this is that it has not yet been reviewed by its peers, something that in the scientific world is essential to be able to verify that the possible discoveries of a researcher are true or not.

Despite this Caballero argues that scientists should be careful when sending messages into space in their quest to try to contact other intelligent species.because in his opinion there is a probability that an alien race will end humanity if they detect our existence.

“We do not know the mind of aliens. An alien civilization may have a brain with a different chemical composition and they may not have our empathy or have more psychopathological behaviorsKnight said.
