The story revolves around a determined teenager named Sakutu Azusagawa, who helps a teenage actress, Mai Sakurajima and other people through their problems and overcoming a phenomenon known as Puberty Syndrome that has deeply affected them.
Puberty Syndrome is a natural phenomenon that is a manifestation of problems someone is going through. This leads them to display abnormal characteristics, such as being invisible, having injuries as a representation of hurtful words and many more.

Will There Be Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2?
Even after two years of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, anime lovers all around the world still couldn’t detach themselves from this heart-touching series. This series was a light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi. A film adaptation was also released as a sequel in June 2019.
The series received an outstanding rating of 8.31 on MyAnimeList, with a huge number of fans praying for its return. Then why is this anime not renewed for another season? We might have an answer.
The Bunny Girl Senpai Light Novel Series currently has 11 volumes. The first season of Bunny Girl Senpai animation was created out of the first 5 volumes of the light novel series, and the movie covered the 6th and 7th volume. There are currently 4 volumes that are still left to be covered in the following season which is not enough. The show makers need five volumes to create one series. Therefore, we need to wait patiently for the 12th volume to arrive. Only by then, the creators will be able to produce another brand new season.
Assuming the light novel series takes around 1-2 years to release a new volume, it might come until late 2021 or 2022. Speculations are that the next anime season might be here in the year 2023. We will let you know the actual release date once we know more.

The first season had a happy ending which was loved by the fans. Kaede returns from the hospital and decides to go back to school, knowing that she is no longer alone in her problem. We also witnessed Sakuta and Mai getting closer to each other. The film sequel showcased Sakuta’s first crush, Shoko and her two versions and how Sakutu tries to save her.
If the second season is ever announced, we’ll get to experience the 8th volume in a light novel series named Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister on an Outing.
Bunny Girl Senpai Season 1
Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai is a Japanese light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi. ASCII Media Works has published eleven volumes since April 2014 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint.
Later, a manga adaptation was released by Tsugumi Nanamiya which was serialised in ASCII Media Works Seinen Manga magazine in December 2015.
An anime television series was created out of the first five volumes of the light novel series by CloverWorks which aired from October to December in the year 2018.
In the year 2019, an anime film adaptation named Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Dreaming Girl was made out of the 6th and 7th volume of the light novel series. The film was directed by Sōichi Masui.
