Demon Slayer is about a teenager named Tanjiro Kamado who comes home one day to find his entire family is killed by demons. The only survivor left is her little sister, Nezuko who has been turned into a blood-thirsty demon. The series incorporates the journey of Tanjiro becoming a Demon Slayer to find a cure for his little sister and protect others that have been dealing with the same tragedy.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
Demon Slayer is back yet again after all the pleading of anime fans around the globe. To keep you intrigued, we have a few updates.
There’s already been a short preview of what to expect from the series. New cast members have joined this super exciting series, as Demon Slayer season 2 looks to stay on track after Mugen Train, there’s even a one-hour episode ready to share its story.
New episodes are scheduled to be released in December 2021. The official release date for season 2 is expected to come on December 5. That’s going to be a one-hour episode so it is surely going to be epic. New episodes will be aired weekly from December 2021 till 2022.
There is currently a seven-episode recap with some new material so that the fans could catch up on Mugen Train in case they have no idea what they are heading into.
Demon Slayer will then air new episodes starting from December. So you need to watch the movie or the seven-episode recap to understand the plotline better. Then, Tanjiro’s thrilling journey will continue with the post-Mugen Train adventure.
We are getting seven Mugen Train arc episodes through October and November. Whereas the Entertainment District will start in December, but speculations are that it could be shorter than the original.
The total episode count for Demon Slayer season 2 is expected to be 18 episodes. This would work out at seven for Mugen Train and 11 for Entertainment District.

Season 1 ended with Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke being summoned to their first major assignment as part of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Rengoku, a member of Hashira is given the task of accompanying the trio and with Tanjiro’s sister, Nezuko in tow. The movie is based on Tanjiro and company’s attempts to take down the Lower One of the Twelve Moons, the group of demons led by the original demon.
After the dramatic events of Mugen Train and the end of the Infinity Train Saga, Tanjiro, the Hashira and the Demon Slayer Corps. will have to deal with dangerous new enemies.
In the second season, the group will be seen heading towards Yoshiwara, a town with bright lights and dark desires, as evident from the trailer. Tanjiro is also expected to have a conflict with an Upper Moon or two. Upper Rank has six demons and Daki is confirmed to appear in the upcoming season.
Demon Slayer Season 1
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is created from Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The series was serialised by Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020.
The series has also been published in English by Viz Media and published by Shueisha on their platform named Manga Plus.
